Sadness, lack of energy, muscle stiffness, stress, burnout, food cravings, worry, and sleep disorders may all be indicators of dietary deficiencies. Kristine Noonan, RN, CHHC, Founder & Director of Honor & Hope Wellness Center, a holistic health, wellness, and nutrition center in Hamburg NY, will present nutrition secrets and contributing factors to symptoms that many of us have experienced. A question and answer period, along with additional literature will be provided.

Power of a Positive Attitude

Many people bring “childhood baggage” with them to every situation or relationship. These distorted thoughts or mistaken beliefs contribute to anxiety, depression or stress. Learn to perceive and interpret your thoughts and feelings about yourself, others and the world in a positive and realistic way. We can all learn how to choose a positive attitude!

The presenter will be Jolie Giardino, LCSW who is a graduate and adjunct faculty member of the University at Buffalo. Currently, Jolie is the Clinical Coordinator at the Lutheran Service Society where, as a full time therapist, she does individual, couples and group therapy. In addition, she also conducts adoption home studies for prospective parents and provides trainings on a variety of topics. Jolie is also the co-author of a book, “When a Loved One is Hospitalized…A Family Guide”.

Homeopathy-Helping the Body Heal Itself

Homeopathy is a 200-year old system of medicine based on the natural law of “like cures like”. During this seminar, learn the difference between homeopathy and allopathic or “conventional” medicine, and how they compliment each other.

The presenter will be Sally Williams, certified by the North American society of Homeopaths, certified in Classical Homeopathy and has her masters in clinical homeopathy. She is director of the Healing Arts Association of WNY, and is in her 16th year of private practice. Sally is language editor for Interhomeopathy, an online international homeopathic journal. She is also on the faculty of the Homeopathic Academy of Niagara and Baylight College of Homeopathy.

She is the President of CLARIAN CALL, LLC, an independent trainer and consultant for companies, non-profits and individuals, primarily in the areas of management development, team building, one-on-one coaching and conflict prevention.

ZUMBA is a Latin based workout incorporating traditional Latin dance steps with exercise moves contributing to aerobic fitness and muscle tone. It’s easy to follow and fun. In addition to experiencing Zumba, you will also learn about the importance of exercising to reduce your risk for heart disease and stroke. Please join us, for a very special wellness event that is both fun and effective!!

The presenter will be Mary Anne Cappellino, Wellness Director for the Buffalo Athletic Club, a fitness trainer, author and artist. Mary Anne is also a spokesperson for “Be Active New York State”, a statewide campaign to promote active living.

Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle.
