Creating Opportunities for People with Disabilities

Events

Heritage Centers, (through the Heritage-Oak Foundation), has four main fundraising events every year. Everything we do is family-friendly and most of our events have a large contingent of sports and local celebrities. Each has unique opportunities for individual involvement and corporate sponsorship.

Louis J. Billittier Memorial Run/Walk

This downtown 5k Run/Walk event is held annually every May in loving memory of Louis J. Billittier of Chef's Restaurant. With a unique waterfront route, entertainment for both adults and children and one of Buffalo's best post-run/walk parties-- catered by Chef's Restaurant-- this is a great event for the whole family- as well as for avid or casual runners and walkers.

Heritage-Oak Golf Classic

Join us for a day of golf on one of Western New York's premier courses- Crag Burn. Held annually every July, it's a rare opportunity for you to play on this exclusive and private course. This event serves as a great opportunity to entertain co-workers, clients, family and friends. Always well attended by sports (and local) celebrities, past and present, and culminating with dinner and an auction, this event makes for a truly wonderful summer day of golf.

Decorate With a Donation - Holiday Poinsettia Sale

This holiday fundraiser boasts to be one of Buffalo's original and largest sales that buys and sells only "homegrown" plants.

This is a great way people can support Heritage Centers programming, all while purchasing plants that you would normally buy this time of year…as well as being a great way companies can get involved with us while they satisfy their holiday decorating needs!

We offer two plant sizes and between 3-6 different colors. All plants are beautiful, healthy (with many full blooms) and are of superb quality.

In addition to these annual fundraising events, Heritage Centers also has numerous other opportunities for charitable giving. These include but are not limited to: Chef's (restaurant) Dinner Ticket Sale; Entertainment Book Sale; Allentown Industries Family Night Dinner; Heritage Education Theme Tray Auction; Christmas in the City; and the NYSARC Membership Drive.
